Well, here I am again. I will try to keep up with this more. I know I have a tendency of popping in and out but I really do want to try and keep up as people have been expressing their concerns about my hiatus.
Things here are progressively getting better. We are still as poor as church mice but getting more and more used to London life. I have never really learned how to budget or handle my income but man am I learning now! I was SO proud of myself the other day when I went grocery shopping with £20 pounds to spend and with the occasional use of a calculator spent £20.06 and had plenty of food for the week!!! So I am quite proud of that. Being that I get paid more than Ronny at the moment I am handling all most of the money and am getting our rent and bills paid. I have never had to do that before! But I think Im doing good. Sink or swim. That is my new motto. I think even though I am doing a doggy paddle, Im swimming. Everyone here tells me how they cant believe all I have gotten done since we have been here. That makes me feel good.
Besides that, not a whole lot is new. Our new cong is lovely. This weekend we went for a 3 mile hike in our local area. It was beautiful!!! Had such a nice time. There were about 25-30 people there from various congregations so it was nice to meet some new brothers and sisters. This weekend we are meeting up with a friend in a nearby cong to go to a movie which should be fun. Can you believe this Saturday is Ronny and my 6 month wedding anniversary!!! It has flown!
Oh yes, one more thing! I have decided to continue my dream of becoming a massage therapist. I have found a school near where I live in Middlesex and I could get my diploma and start working after 3 months! So I just need to save up the money first but Im definitely going to do it. Need to run but will post again soon. Love you guys!
