Okay before I let too much time go past I figured I should post. :) Ronny and I got back from our Williamsburg, VA vacation last Saturday. Had a really wonderful time. Probably the best vacation we have ever been on. lol Its true! Europe was nice but stressful. I felt no pressure in VA (to see/do everything) so we could just relax. Was so much fun. Went to Colonical Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. Will get the pics up as soon as I am done with them. There are a LOT as usual. I added a few of them from my trip to my Etsy store on the right. The red flower ones are from VA. Check it out. :)

We went to a Gwen Stefani concert on Sunday with a friend of mine, Rodney. Man did we have fun!!! Lady Sovereign (a UK rapper and quite good! I knew of her out there) opened as well as Akon who's DJ totally stole the show. Got the crowd really going. Gwen was good but lacking in energy although when she came into the audience to sing a song everyone went...bananas. lol It was cool.

Other than that not much going on. I am busy with school and work and meetings, service and now my Etsy shop. Wonderful Marshena bought 3 of my prints. Isnt she the best!!! :) I was so thrilled.

Anyways, talk to you lovely ones later!

So excited. Thanks to Bev's recommendation, I finally got my Etsy photography shop up and running. I only have 4 items on there at the moment but will be adding more. There is a link to the right. :) Thanks for all the support guys. I am finally realizing my dream!!! Its so exciting. I am adding a custom made banner soon so it will look more professional. hehe

Well not much going on around here. We are getting ready for our trip next week. We were planning on going to Orlando but we have changed that to Williamsburg, VA. Orlando was just too expensive. My sister is kindly letting us use her car so we are driving down Monday and arriving back on Saturday. The Gwen Stefani concert is on the Sunday. :) Our schedule reads as follows:

Monday: Start at 6am and drive down to Virginia. Arrive between 2pm-4pm and head to town for dinner

Tuesday: Spend the day touring Williamsburg

Wednesday: Virginia Beach! Meet up with Jade (sister who lives out there) for lunch and go to her meeting

Thursday: Tour Jamestown and Yorktown

Friday: Busch Gardens!! woohoo!!! :)

Saturday: Head home with a potential short stop at Washington.

Should be nice. Cant wait to get out there with my camera. I hear its really beautiful there this time of year. Its becoming more and more of a popular vacation place. Its the 400th anniversary of the US right before we go but we are missing it so I am glad about that.
Anyways, be back soon!

First I want to say thanks to everyone for their support. :) I am going to look into what Bev suggested about www.etsy.com and also www.devianart.com . I like deviant because you can buy other products like mugs and mousepads with your photography on it. I will let you know when its up so maybe you guys can check it out. ;)

Also more about the blogging. It was recommended that you start a blog about an interest (any) and maintain it for a month and then when you apply to write for a blogging company you can show them your work. So I decided to start one for book reviews. I am no where as good as Bev. In fact, this is my first book review EVER but you can check it out on the right. Its called The Insatiable Reader. :) That is what Ronny calls me so I thought I would stick to it. I want to do another review for The Woman in White which I read recently but at the moment I only have Gone with The Wind up that as I just finished it. Let me know what you think. If I suck I would like to know so be honest!! hehe

So the weekend was a bomb. Saturday stunk as I was still feeling poopy. Got ready for the meeting but ended up staying home and sleeping for 4 hours in the afternoon. *blah* Sunday at the gardens was cloudy most of the day (NOT good for photography regardless of what others say...I HATE it.). It was all grey so my pics came out quite dark. Well most of them did. I will post them up soon to share with you guys. It was a zoo out there! The last day of the festival and just completely packed. I will never go during a festival again. I dont like crowds. Everytime I go to the gardens its empty and I prefer it that way. Plus because it has been raining a lot lately a lot of the blossoms had fallen off. If there weren't so many people it would have been enjoyable. They had Japanese musicians (even my niece liked the music!) and sushi and sake which I thought was cool. Its not cool however to have to walk in a single file line down garden paths due to it being so packed. *double blah* I was super stressed trying to keep everyone together as there was a group. I think they enjoyed themselves though and that makes me happy. Got some cute pics of the kids though. Oh! And I also did more editing on some pics I was about to throw out that I did of my fave statues in the Met Museum of Art here in NY. I am so glad I didnt!!! I am getting them printed out and framing them for our living room. I really love the way they turned out. Will share soon.

Oh one more thing about the gardens....I thought I lost my 6 year old niece, Kaylin for about 6 minutes. One second she is directly behind me looking at the ducks and when I turn around she is gone. I totally started freaking out screaming her name. It takes a split second for a kid to bolt and someone to grab them. I started losing it trying to get the guys help me look for her. Just as I was going to start really panicing a sister from my group comes around the bend with Kaylin in her hand. I ran to her and think I scared her cause I was like "Dont ever run away from me again!". I was so happy to see her. I dont even want to think about if I couldn't find her. It makes me sick.

Anyways, I am off to lunch. Talk to y'all later!
