Wow, am I glad I didn't post prematurely. I was going to post last week and decided to wait and things have changed so drastically since then that I am glad I have waited. Anyway, to explain myself.....Ronny and I were thinking about moving to Scotland. We knew that we had another year in the UK until Ronny's immigration sorted itself out. We weren't sure of what to do and then this Monday I got an email from my father saying he wouldn't be able to help me co-sponsor Ronny as he is retiring and it was a huge responsibility (which I totally understand) so I was a tad devastated wondering how in the world we were going to be able to file for Ronny's immigration and go home. See a few months ago, when we decided to go back, they said that I would need to sponsor Ronny and prove an income but because I only have a salary here in the UK they said I would need a joint sponsor as they wouldn't recognize my present income. So that was the dilemma my dad was trying to help us with. So anyways, back to me panicking....I wasnt sure what to do but after thinking and praying about it I called the US immigration in the states on Tuesday and told them the situation and asked if Ronny would be able to file from the states. After talking for 15 min and being completely sure, the officer told me as long as he entered the country legally, he would be able to apply from there. I was in total shock as I didn't think it was possible. I was so unbelievably happy and wanted to hug the officer. He was so nice. So I called my mom and told her and as you can imagine she is over the moon. So we are looking to leave as soon as New Year's weekend. We obviously have a lot to tie up and we need to go back to Sweden one more time to say goodbye to his family. I need to sell, give away and throw out most of our stuff. But I am so happy. I am a tad sad at leaving our friends here and beautiful England but to be with my family and friends again....its just unreal. And sooner than I expected!!! So that is the news. :)
I am really tired and I have loads to do before I go to bed so will TRY and post on the weekend. My friends are coming from the states on Tuesday and I have so much to do until then. Love you all!!
